Celebrities Considered as Unattractive

There is no doubt that Hollywood has set extremely high standards of beauty and it is difficult to aspire to them even if someone looks a little bit “ordinary”.

Both actors and actresses have always had to contend with extreme physical pressures at every level, from film executives to TV writers, right on down to themselves.

So, you can’t really blame some of them for trying to look better than what their natural features permit, even though the outcome of such attempts is quite often unfortunate.

The others who refuse to succumb to Botox and various cosmetic procedures are condemned to playing stereotyped, usually minor, roles and they are frequent laughing stocks of the press.

This obsession with perfection is widespread not only among actors, but also among celebrities in general.

We present you a list of fifteen celebs considered to be “ugly ducklings”.

1. Jocelyn Wildenstein

If you’re not familiar with the name of Jocelyn Wildenstein, you might have heard of her other monikers, such as “The Cat Woman” or “The Lion Woman of New York”.

She is a wealthy socialite who is most famous for undergoing extensive facial surgeries in an attempt to win back her ex-husband, who supposedly hates being with old people.

It all started with his and her eye-lifts a year after they got married, but for Jocelyn it was just the beginning. Although she claims that she is extremely satisfied with her feline reflection in the mirror, the effects of the reportedly $4 million worth surgeries are less than pleasant and they have secured her constant media attention albeit for all the wrong reasons.

Her current extreme appearance has resulted in the press dubbing her “The Bride of Wildenstein”, a not-so-subtle reference to The Bride of Frankenstein.
